Major renaming / refactor of site messages. Some that were previously
modifiable from admin interface are now "hardcoded" in the configuration
file. Having these settings made modifiable from there made no sense
and just took space in the UI.

FAPWeb - Simple Web-based Demoparty Management System ===================================================== Programmed and designed by Matti Hämäläinen (ccr/TNSP) (C) Copyright 2012-2017 Tecnic Software productions (TNSP) Distributed under a 3-clause BSD style license, see COPYING.txt [rest of this really needs to be written some day] Introduction ============ FAPWeb is a simple web-based system for managing a web-site for a demoparty (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoparty ), including facilities for: - Web-pages with party information (compos) etc - Visitor registration - On-screen beamer slides for competitions and announcements - Submitting competition entries (currently no "user-submission" tho) - On-line voting - Etc .. with more features possibly coming as they are implemented. The system has been used for three evolutions of Finnish Amiga Party, aka "FAP", thus the somewhat amusing name for the software. Requirements ============ - PHP 5.5 or later (tested on PHP 5.4 (Debian patched) and 5.6) Both PHP for http server and CLI are required. - PHP ImageMagick wrapper, http://php.net/imagick In Debian, it is "php5-imagick". - SQL database. FAPWeb supports at least PostgreSQL and probably MySQL PDO database backends, also SQLite3 is supported for development purposes. However, SQLite3 should NOT BE USED for a production website - it can not handle simultaneous access very well at all.
