Latest news
Mon Apr 12 23:34:44 2010: We are evaluating options of streaming some live video etc from the gala.
So even if you are unable to attend in person, you may be able to tune in
remotely (remember to dress up and cork a bottle of wine first to get into
the right mood). Once we have confirmed this possibility, we will release
URLs and other needed info.
Mon Apr 12 22:41:30 2010: Sorry for the silence, truly HASN'T been silent on the organizing side.
We're well underway with the setup and while we cannot promise that we'll
top the 15th birthday, we're pretty confident that we'll have a pretty good
go at it ;-).. While still unconfirmed, there will be some dudes from the
press (Pelit-magazine, MikroBitti and Edome) present as well! Btw, if you
haven't received your personalized entrance pass yet, contact/notify Amarth.
Oh, in case you didn't know, BatMUD opened "unofficially" on the 12th of
March 1990, according to Jaf's Usenet newsgroup post.
Sun Apr 4 21:55:50 2010: You should be receiving the invitations during next week. Just wanted to
drop a word that the whole administration is really getting worked up and
excited about the upcoming party-- we have some really good stuff planned
for the event, while still keeping a relaxed athmosphere!
Thu Apr 1 16:50:42 2010: Due to 'slight underestimations' in the amount of work related to sending
the gala admittance passes, they were only posted today. For inside Finland,
they were sent in 1st class mail and all international invitations as
"Expres Letters", meaning express delivery - to the address given by You
in the signup.
Thu Apr 1 00:56:17 2010: Some Gala statistics: over 30 mudders are coming from abroad, at least 13
mudders are coming from North America, there'll be 30 female mudders
attending the event - all of these are record figures. We'll definitely
have a good party!
